Acupuncture is a traditional healing practice that involves inserting very thin needles into specific points on the body to promote balance and support the body’s natural healing processes. Rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine, it is based on the idea that energy, or qi, flows along pathways called meridians. By stimulating key points, acupuncture is believed to improve this flow, reduce pain, and enhance overall well-being. Today it’s commonly used for conditions such as chronic pain, stress, headaches, and musculoskeletal issues, and many people find it helpful as a complementary therapy alongside conventional medical care.
